“I know I shouldn’t eat this... I just can’t help myself.”

You're finished dinner and are up to make a second plate, even if you're not hungry. Perhaps you have strict eating requirements and only eat certain foods at certain times.

Maybe that handful of chips turns into the whole bag disappearing,

or you keep "bad" foods out of the house because you feel like you have no control.
