COVID 19 Policies

Counselling Sessions

 
In person counselling sessions will be offered to those who meet the criteria, which are:

  • You have not travelled outside of the Interior Region during the 14 days prior to your appointment

  • You have been practicing physical distancing

  • You are not a close contact of a person who tested positive for COVID-19

  • You do not have a fever (a temperature over 100F)

  • You do not have any symptoms, such as:

    • dry cough

    • tiredness

    • aches and pains

    • sore throat

    • diarrhea

    • headache

    • loss of taste or smell

    • a rash on skin, or discolouration of fingers or toes

    • difficulty breathing or shortness of breath

    • chest pain or pressure

    • loss of speech or movement

 
You will receive two things:

  1. An updated informed consent policy to read and sign should you agree to the terms.

  2. A screening questionnaire will automatically be sent to you 2 hours before your appointment to complete.

What You Need to Know About In Person Appointments
  • Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment otherwise wait outside or in your vehicle.

  • Please head to the washroom first to wash your hands before coming into the space -

  • I will meet you in the waiting room to come into the office.

  • The furniture has been moved for the 2M for physical distancing.

  • Face masks must be worn for the duration of the appointment. If you are unable to wear a mask or shield, we will have a viritual session.

  • Sadly, I can no longer offer tea or water during our appointments. Please bring your own beverages for the appointment.
